Updates

Your child should have a study guide for their Economics Unit in his or her Social Studies folder. Your child will basically just have to learn the vocabulary terms. I included examples, but those aren't required memorization at this point. We will be revisiting these economics concepts throughout 4^th grade history.  This test will be on September 2^nd.

I have decided to continue using Grammar Mini Bites instead of spelling for the foreseeable future. If I need to change this, I will let you know! The first Grammar Mini Bites Quiz will be on Friday, September 5th.

Synergy is up, but our administrators have asked that we not input grades yet. Please check your child’s Thursday folders to make sure you are kept up to date on grades.

Here is the specials rotation calendar for the year.  You can use this to know if your child needs to bring P.E. appropriate shoes and clothing for the day.

Good afternoon,

Today your child received the agenda and Cobb County folder.  In the folder is the student handbook.  Please review it, then sign the receipt paper, and return it.  Also in the folder is the clinic card.  Please sign and return this as well. 

Tomorrow and the rest of the week we’ll continue to review classroom procedures and introduction activities.

We are going to have a celebration for those students who participated on August 15.  I would like to have them by Friday, August 8^th if possible.
